Energy Performance Certificates
All domestic properties being sold or rented by a Landlord must have a valid Energy Performance Certificate (EPC). An EPC is sometimes required in support of property improvement applications, for example applying for funding for solar panels or heat pumps installations. We can provide EPCs throughout Greater Manchester.
An energy performance assessment is a non-invasive inspection of all areas of the property, including the boiler and loft space, and typically takes around 30-45 minutes. During the assessment detailed notes are taken, after which a full report will be prepared and submitted to the public Government website.

Energy Performance Consultancy
Once a property has been energy assessed and given an energy performance rating, we can offer comprehensive consultancy and advisory services to help improve the rating. It is a legal requirement for any rented accommodation to at least have a rating of ‘E’ in order to comply with the Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES) legislation.
